What does every baby in the world have in common? They can spit-up, spit out, throw-up, and dribble milk or food on their chin and chest in a split second. Faster than you can grab your hand spit-up towel or cloth they have made a complete mess of their shirt. A baby bib may easily qualify as their second most essential item of clothing falling right behind their diaper.

Obviously the baby bib is not really the second most important piece of clothing, but it is a very important item if you want to save your own sanity. Without a baby bib a simple bottle of milk can end up requiring a complete change of clothing. While many of you women love changing your little baby’s outfit at any instant, most of use do not want to. We need to keep busy doing other things.

With a baby bib safely in place we can feed our baby, quickly change out the bib, and the clothes stay clean and dry. It is not only during feeding time the bib plays an important role. Our babies love to drool, especially when teeth start to arrive. By having a bib around their neck the drool soaks the bib, not the clothes.

You might be thinking this is going to ruin your baby’s “style”. Answer this quick question, which is cuter a baby with a soaking wet shirt, or a baby with cute little bib with cute little zoo animals? A package of a half dozen cute bibs only costs a few dollars and can be changed out in seconds. Shirts cost much more, and take minutes to change once you finish fighting those flailing arms.

While functionality is important, cuteness is maybe even more important. We do not want our little baby girl or baby boy running around looking bad. You can find a baby bib to match almost any outfit. If you buy a wide variety of styles, colors, and patterns you will always have a couple bibs handy to match their outfit.

With styles including cute sayings, baby decors, and even cartoon characters a baby bib is not only for protecting clothes but quickly becomes a fashion statement for your baby.

You might be protesting there is no way you are going to have your infant wearing a baby bib to church along with their cute little outfits. What if you found a bib which is just a lacy as her cute little dress, matches the color, and even has a cute little lace flower on it? Suddenly the bib is not an eyesore like you thought but a simple accessory to the outfit. It can be removed in an instant if you want to have pictures taken, and the best news, the dress will still be beautiful. The same goes for your little guys. Just choose a bib which matches their outfit and it will look great.

A baby bib is going to be one of your favorite items of clothing. It protects the clothes underneath, saves you time and money. Buy a large assortment of styles and you will be ready for any occasion.

The Baby Bib – Is It a Fashion Statement, Or Just a Stain?

Mothers, have you really lost your minds? We all do it, we walk in the store and start looking at every baby bib in the store.

Mothers, have you really lost your minds? We all do it, we walk in the store and start looking at every baby bib in the store. We don’t just look at the front one in the pack we go through every baby bib in the pack. They are so cute.

Have you read all those little sayings on the baby bibs before you buy them? We’re all guilty of it. Now stop and think for a moment. What are we buying the baby bib for? To catch milk, spit, juice, baby food, and any other yucky little things which escape our baby’s mouth.

The baby bib is being bought to be covered with stains. We want the stains on the bib, because we don’t want them on the clothes underneath. Now remind yourself, why did you read all of those bibs? Does it really matter what design is on them?

Once you start looking at the reality of a baby bib, you’ll start to make new decisions. The first thing you need to decide on a baby bib is how well will it do the job. You want a bib which stops the water, milk, and juices from soaking through to the good clothes underneath. Some of the most effective kinds of baby bibs are the ones with a plastic liner on the back. They don’t look as nice. They may not feel as nice. They are simply very functional.

If you don’t want to have any plastic in your baby bibs, then you should consider the thickness. The thicker the fabric, the better it will block fluids from making their way through. Multiple layers are ideal. The cutest little bibs are usually one layer of fabric with a beautiful design. There is only one word to describe them, USELESS.

In all honesty, you know the truth. Your desire to have the cutest baby bib on your child is not nearly as important as protecting their clothes. They wear the bib for 15 minutes while they eat, and then everyone sees their clothes.

It’s time to make the ultimate fashion statement in your baby bib selection. The finest decoration, the cutest baby bib in the world, is the one covered in stains. It has succeeded in its mission. When the clothes are stain free, and the bib is covered in stains, you should feel proud, your selection was perfect.

Now there is an exception to this rule. Family get together’s and reunions, require a pretty baby bib. Come on, you know it’s true. No where else in the world are you going to be critiqued as hard. Bring along an extra set of cute clothes, and a few extra cute bibs. The baby must be at a full 10 on the cuteness scale for this day.

One of the most important lessons for any parent, is to start understanding what is really important, and what is not. A baby bib is only as useful as the protection it provides. Not even Michelangelo could create a more beautiful work of art than a well stained baby bib.
