A baby boy is one of the greatest gifts known to man. Moms, if you are really lucky, the proud fathers might even give you a few minutes to play with them, too.
Having a baby boy is not better than having a baby girl, it is just a different direction in excitement. When you have a baby boy, the father will start dreaming about playing ball, going fishing, wrestling, and all the fun “guy” things he wants to do with his little guy.

As you walk through the baby toy department, mom will notice all the cute little toys for her new son. Dad on the other hand will probably be chuckling and picking up the tiny baseball bat rattle, looking for tiny tools, and other toys to get his baby boy started on the right foot.
Mothers, do not go crazy when you start seeing your husband playing with their new baby boy. When they are still a newborn, he will still be gentle and careful, but with each passing week you will see Daddy starting to get a little more playful. They want to play, swing and twirl with their little son. They would probably do the same thing with a little girl, except mom always tries to stop them.
Mom will have the dreams of playing Mozart, Beethoven, and sweet music to help their baby boy sleep. Dad will be preparing his son for the real world of men. It is time to turn on the football, basketball, and baseball games. If they need a little quiet time together, they will flip it over to golf.
Your baby boy and their father will have a very special language, it is called Vrooom. Expect your husband to be making all sorts of strange noises as he shows his baby boy trucks, cars, motorcycles, and boats. He cannot help himself, you know all men are just big children.
Mom, while you may stand back and giggle the first time your baby boy pees while you are changing him, your husband will probably break out in all out laughter. Almost every father dreams of having a son, and when his dreams come true, he will express himself with total joy. Do not worry, he will be happy to share him with you.
Having a baby boy is not only about buying blue clothes, baby sheets, and decorating the nursery in a blue motif. The experience of having a new son is one both parents will treasure for the rest of their lives. Your life of fun and excitement with raising him from being a baby into a powerful, proud man is just beginning. An adventure you will all share in love.
